Strain Sourcing
Thanks to our large, diverse strain library, we can help you turn your probiotic ideas into reality. Our library comprises tens of thousands of isolates, all deliberately sourced from locations in which we expect to find strains with desirable mechanisms of action.
For example, when we developed our latest industrial, institutional, and consumer cleaning ingredient SporActiv® CLEAR, we knew we wanted to tackle difficult-to-degrade odors. During the screening phase, we sourced from areas with highly challenging odors, giving us a better chance of finding Bacillus strains that would do what we needed them to do.
