SporActiv® CLEAR is a game changer in the IIC market, and the R&D efforts behind it are a significant reason why. Our microbiologists are driven by finding solutions to our customers’ challenges, so when we noticed a lot of requests for odor control products coming to our lab, we wanted to dive deeper into the abilities of Bacillus to fight these unpleasant smells.

While most Bacillus strains are capable of breaking down many common waste and odor components, we found that some compounds are particularly difficult to digest without the use of specialized strains. Knowing this, our microbiologists spent 12 months evaluating nearly 400 Bacillus strains, searching for the best odor-fighting qualities. We went to the source, isolating Bacillus strains from some of the most challenging high-odor environments.  Our team also studied other market-leading products during development. This ensured we were formulating an ingredient with capabilities no one else had, thereby helping our customers differentiate their final product.

The end result is SporActiv® CLEAR, a testament to our expertise in R&D and our dedication to boosting our customers’ success.
