Summary/Purpose of Position:

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the front desk Receptionist at Microbial Discovery Group, LLC. You will be our “Director of first impressions” and provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages main phone line and fields calls accordingly using a multi-line phone system
  • Responsible for maintaining call tree to ensure calls are always answered
  • Greets and directs visitors while ensuring our guests follow our GMP practices
  • Provide internal customer support services. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • scheduling conference rooms, filing, making photocopies, scanning and faxing documents, meeting setting / tear down, etc.
  • Order office supplies for all facilities
  • Create and manage monthly internal employee newsletter
  • Opens, sorts, and distributes mail
  • Small parcel shipping (UPS, FedEx, DHL, Bonded, etc.)
  • Other administrative type duties of increasing responsibility assisting multiple departments, as growth occurs

  • Excellent Attendance
  • A welcome willingness to adapt to changing priorities tasks as they shift
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Keep corporate information confidential by adhering to the terms of the employee non-disclosure agreement
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced and high-pressured environment with a positive attitude and strong professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to make decisions independently
  • Impeccable ability to solve common problems and provide immediate solutions

Relevant Job Experience:

  • Expert level knowledge of navigating physical and online phone systems
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Working knowledge of relevant software programs

Licenses / Certifications:

  • Notary Public preferred, but not required
