Sewer Surveillance

To locate areas of sewer collection systems, a small camera is put into the pipe. Measurements from the manhole can be taken to determine where to dig.

Radio transmission to the camera can record of the depth and location from the surface.Videos have been used to locate lost jewelry, other valuables, and animals that have been trapped in pipes. We call these images “dirty movies”! Wastewater operators are known for their sense of humor and ability to find humor in day to day tasks involving our jobs.
